How to Play Bing Rummy
To begin, start with a deck of fifty-two cards with no jokers. The deuces are wild in the game of Bing rummy. To start the game, every player must buy in for the start up amount. This is usually as low as .25 but can be more if agreed. The cards are shuffled and the game begins with the player located on the right of the dealer. This first player will cut the deck first. If the bottom card on the top section of the cards is a deuce, the player can keep that card.
Next, each player is dealt a total of 14 cards. If the player located on the dealers’ right side cuts a deuce, he can only be dealt a total of 13 cards and must skip the first one make it a total of 14. The remaining cards are then placed in a stock pile to draw from and the top card is turned over. This will start the discard pile. The player on he dealer’s left side will begin playing and on this turn, that player will end up with three choices. He or she can either draw a card from the pile and then discard it, take the card from the top of the discard pile and then discard a different card, or meld.
Melding occurs when a match is able to be made such as three of one kind, two of another, or a straight. The game is won when a player has melded all of his or her cards. The players count up all their points that is still in their hands
